Roofs
StD - roof with insulating material above the beams or some other form of retaining construction. Rigid or crushproof covering over the insulation (tiles, concrete, corrugated iron, etc.)
StS - superposed roof, insulated with two separate layers of polystyrene foam. The upper EPS layer ensures the roof’s mechanical strength, whereas the lower layer ensures a sufficient degree of thermal insulation.
Floors
GK - heated floors in residential or public use buildings.
Flat roof with thermal insulation, covered with rolled-out covering:
1 - Reinforced concrete slab;
2 - sloping and levelling layer;
3 - condensation insulation (polyethylene membrane);
4 - lower polystyrene foam layer;
5 - decking with upper polystyrene foam layer;
6 - roof’s water insulation with protective barrier.
